A part of Ado Ekiti Main Market was gutted with fire on thursday, 21st Of May by people allegedly from the Hausa community.
The Hausa speaking community in Ekiti state have had issues with some indigenes and on Wednesday, the 20th of may, some hoodlums who masked their faces stormed the popular Atikankan area where most of them have their goods and destroyed them.
The Hausa reportedly did this in revenge.
Goods worth properties worth millions of naira were lost by the fire. More updates later.
