Hearts of Oak must beat Medeama in the semi-final of the MTN FA Cup.

Hearts of Oak can improve their chances of winning a silverware this season if they beat Medeama on Sunday in the MTN Ghana FA Cup semi-final clash. 

Head coach David Duncan and his troops will be at the Baba Yara Stadium against Medeama who are in the hunt for the league title.

The Phobians have not lost a match in the second half of the season and improved to seventh place on the league table.

Medeama beat Wa All Stars 1-0 at home on Thursday in a delayed week 28 fixture to stay in third place on the table and one point behind leaders Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea.

The Mauve and Yellows beat Hearts 3-1 in Accra and drew 1-1 at home in the Ghana Premier League.

Hearts face a difficult task of recording their first win over the Tarkwa-based without their lead marksman Mahatma Otoo.Otoo is on international duty with the Black Stars for next week?s 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Sudan and Lesotho.
