The helicopter crash-landed at a remote village called Asuofua, near Akyem Oda in Eastern Ghana, local media reported on Thursday.
Fortunately, the helicopter with three people on board including the pilot did not explode and there are no serious casualties, according to the Birim Central Municipal Fire Officer, Daniel Allotey.
The helicopter crashed in a thick forest, making it difficult for fire officers and police to travel to the destination, the officer said.
Allotey said his office received a call from the police at about 14:00 GMT, “We searched the bush for about 20 minutes before locating the damaged helicopter.”
