A photo of Ghanaian gospel musician, Herty Borngreat and her husband, posing with the Queen of England Queen Elizabeth II has attracted scorn and outright condemnation on Facebook.
But others hail her.
The musician posted the photo of herself and her husband, Pastor Borngeat with the Royal family ? Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip (Duke of Edinburgh), Prince William (Duke of Cambridge), and Kate Middleton (Duchess of Cambridge) ? on Saturday, July 26.
She captioned the photo: ?GOD WILL POSITION YOU IN GREATER HEIGHTS IN LIFE WITHOUT MUCH STRUGGLE.IF YOU BELIEVE,TYPE AMEN.?
The photo has generated a heated debate on Facebook. Some of her fans seem?to be excited but many are outraged by the photograph which they say is simply a pose?with wax images of the Royal family.
The images received over 40,000 comments with most of them being ?Amen?.
A Facebook fan, who is unamused by the photo and the?caption, said: ?I’m sorry. I am so sorry, but to say that ‘God will position you in greater heights in life without much struggle,’?and then pose alongside the WAX FIGURES of the British Royal Family at MADAME TUSSAUDS WAX MUSEUM to gain ATTENTION is a disgusting farce!!!! How dare you! Why don’t you take pictures of feeding the poor and helping the needy if you want to speak of the things God can do? It will do the world more good instead of you using His name to make yourself look important. I refuse to acknowledge you as a Christian for creating such a farce in the name of God!?
Another fan?said: ?how can u be in shades n pose by de queen………….u fink de Queen be kiddie?? while a third fan commented: ?Amen, but this is not really the queen and prince tho.. this was probably taken in Madam Tussauds..?
?dis one na madam tusaud museum statue naa….make we see the real thing,? a fourth fan said.
Myjoyonline.com?s attempts to get a reaction from the musician?s camp has proved futile with some sources close to her saying they haven?t seen the photo.
