Its members are drawn from the Ghana Health Service (GHS) and the Christian health institutions.

Dr. Charity Sarpong, the Eastern Regional Health Director, inaugurating the association in Koforidua, said it was a right step and vital to efforts at promoting quality healthcare delivery.

She said the expectation was that it would help to build the capacity of the members – to raise standards.

She noted that every institution required high performing and efficient human resource management to make progress and that was why their role was important.

Mrs. Elsie Okoh, its Interim President, said the goal was to have a common platform to enable them share ideas to improve performance.

She said the human resource manager was critical to work productivity and good work relations.
