According to him, nobody in the NPP has the experience to continue the projects and development he has started in Greater Accra communities.
Dr. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije was addressing a rally in Korle Gonno.
He promised to bring total development and transformation to the five wards that made up Ablekuma South.
The Mayor promised to improve Accra and build it into one of the best Cities in the world, saying that what he has so far achieved for the City is manifestation of greater things to come if he becomes the MP of the area.
He said, education is the best empowerment for children who are future leaders hence, his resolve to ensure quality education for children by ending the shift system and building Millennium City Schools equipped with modern science laboratories and libraries.
He promised to build Millennium City Schools in Korle-Gonno and equipped them with the best facilities for effective teaching and learning.
The Mayor also averred that, there are better days ahead for Korle-Gonno. He said, he will rebuild the Mamprobi and Chorkor police stations which will be well resourced so as to operate effectively in preventing crimes in the communities.
He said, he has passed a resolution at the Assembly that guarantees the establishment of five banks in Ablekuma South, one for each ward, to financially empower residents and help build their businesses.
Dr. Oke Vandepuije said, much has been done in ensuring that the famous Lavender hill is gone and that all roads linking the Chorkor community will be reconstructed and asphalted through Chorkor Chemuena through Dansoman and linking the capital City of Accra.
According to Dr. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije, the NDC which has judiciously initiated and completed most projects which the NPP government failed to achieve, adding that the ongoing Ridge Hospital project, 37 Military Hospital, Madina Clinic, Regional and District Hospital projects as some of the things the NDC have been engaged to with the vision of ensuring a better life for the people of Ghana.
He charged NDC supporters and residents to come out in their numbers and make a choice that will ensure a better future for them and their children by voting for him as MP for Ablekuma South and John Mahama as President on December 7, 2016.
