Musician May D has said he is not aware of him being booted out of Square Records as being reported Tuesday.

According to the musician who featured in the smash hit single Chop My Money by P-Square which also featured Akon said he is just waking up to hear that he is no more officially with the label.

A signed statement released by Square Records, Tuesday, stated that its first signing, May D was no more with the music label.

The reason, according to the statement, was due to some irreconcilable differences.

A source, who begged for anonymity, told that there was no signed agreement between May D and Square Records, but just a verbal agreement.

This, may not subscribe to because we believe P-Square would understand better the ethics of doing business with an artiste who is not their immediate family member.

May D was signed to Square Records some months ago.

He was at the burial of the late Mrs Okoye, mother of P-Sqaure, held on August 2, 2012 in Anambra State.
