The General Overseer who walked to the offices of the Ghana News Agency on Monday said a few of his members were picked up by the police at the church premises for disobeying the Act and that he was not present when the arrest was made.

He said he had no knowledge on the gathering and suspected that some of the worshippers picked by the police were people from the vicinity and not his members because the auditorium is open.

The police in Ho Sunday told the GNA they had picked some worshippers at the Miracle Temple Ministries for flouting the directive.

They said some members of the Sokode-Gborgame Pentecost Church were also picked up for same offence.
