A woman who had the opportunity ?to greet the CPP Flagbearer, Br Abu Sakara, and took pictures of him, said, amid?ecstasy,?”I will vote for you, because you are too handsome.?
The woman who expressed joy after seeing the CPP leader, who she believes will help bring back Dr Kwame Nkrumah’s party to power, said she was confident that the CPP will this time round, win political power. The Presidential candidate of the Convention People?s Party, Dr. Abu Sakara has taken his campaign to another level to engage residents on what he plans to do should he be elected the next President of Ghana.
Accompanied by his wife Mrs. Lily Sakara Foster, 2ndNational Vice Chair, Rodaline Imoru-Ayarna and some members of his campaign team, Dr Sakara over the weekend toured parts of Sakumono with Susan Adu Amankwah, Parliamentary Candidate for Tema West, parts of Tema Community one with Richster Nii Armah Amarfio, Parliamentary Candidate for Tema East and the Arts Center with the Parliamentary Candidate for Korley Klotey Constituency, Dr Kabu Okai-Davies. Dr Sakara interacted with second hand cloth dealers, orange sellers including several hundreds of petty traders and urged them to vote for the CPP for a new way forward. At the Arts Center, Dr Sakara pledged to upgrade the center to become one of the most attractive tourist centers in the Country.
He expressed worry about the deplorable nature of the Arts Center which could have been developed to generate more revenue for the economic growth of the people and the Nation at large. Artisans, Craftsmen/Women as well as traders at the Center well so happy to meet the CPP flagbearer with almost everyone at the place abandoning his or her business to catch a glimpse, have a hand shake and take picture with Dr Sakara who they pledged to vote for massively to become the next President of Ghana. One man after coming into contact with Dr Sakara took the opportunity to pray to almighty God to grant the CPP flagbearer all his wishes to enable him implement the good policies and plans he has outlined in the CPP manifesto for the development of the Country.
Some craftsmen donated items to Dr Sakara and urge him to come to their aide if given the nod to lead the Country. Dr Sakara believes in one on one interaction with the electorates more than putting up big rallies and driving in huge convoy. The door to door campaign is aimed at explaining policies that the CPP administration under Dr Sakara would implement. He mentioned that so far, his interactions with residents indicate that the unemployment rate is a huge concern and there is the need for more meaningful jobs to be created to mitigate this problem. This can only become a reality if the CPP led by Dr Sakara is elected to complete the unfinished agenda of our founder and Ghana?s first President, he said.
?The CPP being a political party that has the interest of the youth at heart, our government will be in the best position to create meaningful jobs that can meet the cost of living of the unemployed youth. The CPP has done it before and we are the only political Party that has the key to ensuring a coherent approach to the management of the socio-economic policies of Ghana? Dr Sakara said. According him, the CPP?s agenda is to serve the people and that the tour is to afford him the opportunity to interact with residents and explain to them what solutions will be used in addressing the numerous problems they face in their daily lives.
