Ubah who rode into the arena at about 3.45pm yesterday to a tumultuous welcome as the unprecedented crowd of supporters surged forward to catch a glimpse of the enigma of a man who has come to rescue the state.
he was led into the arena by the combined team of the state and national executives assisted by the Ondo state governor, Olusegun Mimiko.
In their separate speeches the Labour Party chiefs promised to bring the welfarist administrative format already being enjoyed by citizens of Ondo state in the past years to Anambra state.
It was like a roll call of all families, towns and groups in the state, as all markets, professional and religious groups voluntarily thronged the Onitsha flag off venue yesterday, elbowiing each other to be counted.
