Inspector-General of Police Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has congratulated Commissioner of Police Christian Tetteh Yohuno on President Nana Akufo-Addo’s promotion to Deputy Inspector-General of Police.
In a message shared on the Ghana Police Service’s Facebook page, Dampare expressed his best wishes for Yohuno and emphasised the importance of collaboration in maintaining peace, security, law, and order in Ghana.
“We wish you all the best as we continue to work with our colleagues in pursuing peace, security, law, and order in our beloved country,” Dampare wrote. He also extended the warm wishes of the entire police service to the newly promoted deputy IGP.
President Akufo-Addo announced Yohuno’s promotion on Wednesday, July 17, following a police council meeting acknowledging his exemplary service and contributions.
