IMF projects Zimbabwe’s economy to grow 2.5 percent in 2023

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) projected on Tuesday that Zimbabwe’s economy will grow 2.5 percent in 2023 and 2.6 percent in 2024.

According to the World Economic Outlook report released Tuesday, Zimbabwe’s economy grew by 3.0 percent in 2022.

The IMF warned in December last year that renewed domestic and external shocks would continue to weigh on Zimbabwe’s growth prospects. Enditem
