Injured Felix Annan Could Return In Next Two Weeks

Injured Asante Kotoko’s shot-stopper, Felix Annan, is making good progress in his recovery and expected to be back playing for the team soon.


He sustained knee injury during the club’s opening premier league match against WAFA.

wpid-felixxannan.jpgMr. Samuel Opoku-Nti, the General Manager, told the GNA Sports in Kumasi that, the player could be returning to action within the next two weeks.

Annan, one of the safest pair of hands in the camp of the Porcupine Warriors, had to be replaced in the said match after a clumsy challenge on him by an opponent.

Mr. Opoku-Nti said the team had been depleted by injuries and that the team’s doctors were doing everything to ensure their early return to strengthen and add steel to the team.

He also provided information on Dauda Mohammed’s, when Kotoko clashed with Medeama at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and said the injury he picked was not serious adding that, he had already been declared fit to feature in Kotoko’s coming matches.

The General Manager expressed optimism about Kotoko bouncing back strongly after the poor start of the league.

Jackson Owusu and Kwame Boateng are among key players sidelined by injury.
