How To Install iOS 7
Step 1: Before installation, users should perform a backup of their device. Connect the device to the computer via USB and launch iTunes 11.1 on your computer. After that, choose your device in the upper right corner of the iTunes window.
Step 2: After choosing your device?s name, go to the Summary tab and check ?This computer? option under ?Backups.? Once you do that, click on the ?Back Up Now? button.
Step 3: Now go to the Updates tab in the iTunes Apps section to update your iOS app. You can also copy the device backup files to an external drive or PC. To see where iTunes stored the device backup files on your computer, select ?Preferences? from the iTunes menu and navigate to the ?Devices? tab.
Step 4: If you have not downloaded the IPSW file for your device, you can click on the ?Check for Update? button. But, if you have the specific IPSW file saved on your desktop, hold Alt and click on the ?Restore iPhone? button in iTunes.
Step 5: After a small window pops up, navigate to the IPSW file on your desktop, select it and click on Open.
Step 6: Click on ?Restore? on a subsequent pop-up window and it will initiate the restoring process, which will take some time to finish.
Step 7: After it is done, you will see a completion screen. The rest of the process will be continued on the device.

For those who are using jailbroken devices, it is recommended to stay away from the iOS 7 update to save their jailbreaks until any confirmation about an iOS 7 jailbreak comes in.
