Instinct Wave: Crowns Financial Executives in Ghana

The much anticipated 3rd Ghana CFO Awards event which is being organized by InstinctWave, has been held successfully in Accra; by awarding financial executives and organizations who have worked assiduously to boost the economic growth of the country.

The awardees include: Barclays, Ecobank, Omni Bank, GBC, Ministry of Finance and seasoned banking and financial personalities.
The Chief Executive of UBA, Mrs. Abiola Bawuah was also awarded as the woman of excellence in finance.

While, Life Time achievement award went to Hon. Ken Ofori-Attah. A Ghanaian Economist and an Investment Banker and co-founder of Databank in Ghana. He is currently the Minister for Finance. He was appointed by President Akufo-Addo on 10 January 2017.
The Sector Minister has made immeasurable contributions to the economic growth of the nation over the years.

Mr. George Blankson, the immediate past Commissioner General of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) was specially recognized the Tax Personality of the Year.

The 2017 Ghana CFO awards night also provided an exceptional opportunity for stakeholders in the finance sector to network, entertain clients, and reinforce relationships with partners and reward staff with exceptional performance.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of Instinct Wave, Mr. Akin Naphtal, this year’s award did not only showcase and acknowledged Chief Financial Officers and their teams; but also the firms that provide them with the services, support and technologies that enabled the individual success.
