The program which was funded by Japan, includes provision of training to health workers in hospitals situated along the migratory route.
“Effective border control depends on having a better understanding of assistance to be given to people coming from different situations and particular protection needs,” local IOM representative Henri Glorieux said during the handover ceremony.
He said in the last six months alone, 3,000 people have moved into IOM transit center at Obock in northern Djibouti. Enditem
