Isaac Vorsah sat on the Red Bull Salzburg bench again

Isaac Vorsah Benched In Red Bull Salzburg Win In Austria

Black Stars central defender Isaac Vorsah failed to command a starting place at Red Bull Salzburg for the third week running as he sat on the bench in their 2-1 win over relegation-threatened Admira in the Austrian Bundesliga on Saturday.

The 24-year-old could not convince Salzburg trainer Roger Schmidt to hand him a starting berth as he watched the entire proceedings from the substitute bench at the Red Bull Arena.

Brazilian Alan and Segenalese forward Sadio Mane scored twice in the second half as they Salzburg fought from behind to record their 19th win of the season.

The former TSG Hoffenheim man was left on the bench in the 6-2 mauling of Wolfsberger AC but made a second half appearance when they downed Rapid Wien 3-1 in an away tie last weekend.

Vorsah?s inconsistent form could worry Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah who is hoping to have all his players active before the World Cup qualifiers in June.
