Youthful side Isonga secured a point away to Etincelles in a Primus National Football League encounter played yesterday at Umuganda stadium.
Isonga dominated the game with Cyubahiro Jacques and Hamidu Ndayisaba putting the visitors ahead.
Etincelles equalized from Ugandan import Slyva Ochaya mid in the second half while Abedi Mulenda sealed the second goal 30 seconds to the end of the game off a defensive blunder from Michel Rusheshangoga.
The draw ensures that Etincelles remains on sixth position with 18 points in eleven matches while Isonga is also unmoved on tenth position with 8 points in eight matches played this season.
APR currently leads the PNFL standings with 24 points in eleven matches while Police striker Meddie Kagere and Etincelles’ Ochaya are lead top scorers with eight goals scored this season.
