Speaking to www.newsghana.com.gh Christopher said, “It feels amazing to be part of this wonderful team. Though I was born and bred in London I feel connected with Ghana because I have friends and family living in Ghana.”
The Ghanaian born UK sportsman expressed his concern about the future of weightlifting in Ghana.
“I think looking at what we’ve done for the past one year; it’ll get better in the near future. I’m looking forward to acquire a UK certificate myself so that I can impact what I have gain unto the up and coming ones. I also want to own my own gym down in Ghana,” he noted.
Christopher Osei is in the 77kg category and is hoping to qualify in other to represent Ghana at the next Olympic Games in Brazil.
