Italian PM to visit Angola on Sunday

Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni is set to start a two-day working visit to Angola, aiming at strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

According to the official program released Saturday in Luanda by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during his stay, the prime minister will meet with Angolan President Joao Lourenco.

Italy was the first Western European country to recognize Angola’s independence in February 1976. In the same year, the two countries established diplomatic relations. Enditem
