TV3’s Ghana Most Beautiful 2011 2nd runner-up Miss Mantey-Amoo Jacqueline Akweley, yesterday paid courtesy call on the chiefs in the Weija-Gbawe Constituency to donate items towards the annual Ga Homowo festival in Accra.

Among items presented were bags of maize, gallons of cooking oil, Dry Gin,Muscatella drinks and undisclosed amount of money. Nii Adotei Obedeka II who received the items on behalf of Nii Adotey Barimah Den I expressed much gratitude to the GMB queen for her efforts and kindness especially in paying courtesy call on chiefs ahead of the annual festival.
He promised the beauty queen who aspires to be member of parliament in the Ablekuma West Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that they will support her in prayers and do all it takes to see her through the primaries and have her as the MP for the constituency.
Akweley extended her donation to the doors of Nii Gbegbe Adotey and Nii Kootse in Shaibu all in the Ablekuma West Constituency. She went further to acknowledge her delegation and thank the chiefs and elders in the constituency for their prayers.
