Two gunmen were wounded Sunday in an exchange of fire with police and one died of gunshot wounds in hospital.
The shoot-out happened when the two men were trying to escape with the money they had stolen from a wholesale store in Montego Bay, Jamaica’s second-largest city, the Jamaica Observer daily reported.
On Saturday, police shot and killed two armed men in a clash in Jamaica’s troublesome community of Franker.
There was constant shootings in Franker in the lead-up to Thursday’s parliamentary elections. Six people was shot dead in the community in February.
