Ghanaian starlet Joe Dodoo wrote a remarkable success story on Tuesday night as he bagged an impressive hat-trick to mark his senior debut for Leicester City to inspire the Foxes to a 4-1 triumph over Bury.

Dodoo, 19, was handed a starting spot by Leicester?s Italian gaffer Claudio Ranieri and he left a lasting impression on the mind of the former Chelsea and AS Monaco manager who is in charge at the King Power Stadium.

It was a dream start to his Leicester City debut for the Academy graduate who was operating from the right flanks, as on 25 minutes he rattled a thunderous right footed shot in off the crossbar to give City a 1-0 lead, which Andrej Kramari? doubled before the break with an equally impressive finish.

It seemed as though despite 11 changes, Ranieri?s men had lost none of their pace as a blistering counter saw Kant? roll the ball into the path of an incoming Kramaric. However Walton got down well to his first time effort.

The pressure was building for City and on 25 minutes it eventually told, with Academy graduate Dodoo the man to make the difference. Ulloa played a lovely ball from the left which the youngster was able to take down superbly on the run before thundering a right footed shot in off the underside of the crossbar for 1-0.

Black Stars winger Jeffrey Schlupp then replaced Kramari? on the left side of City?s attack but it was Ulloa who had the next chance. He rose well to meet Dodoo?s cross only to see his header whistle just wide.

Bury?s forays forward were becoming more desperate and the game became more stretched. An illustration of that came as substitute Craig Jones went into the book for a late foul on Schlupp.

Dodoo then wrapped up his night with a remarkable finish after Schlupp had broken free on the flank and set him up with a brilliant pass.
