Joseph Addo linked with WAFA move

Former Ghana goalkeeper Joseph Addo is set to quit Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko in favour of a move to West African Football Academy, according to reports in the media.

WAFA want the 26-year-old to replace Felix Annan who has reverted to Kotoko following the expiration of his loan contract with Sogakope-based side.

The WAFA technical bench want to bring in the experience of Addo to back-up second choice Razak Abeloa who managed just four games in the entire season.

Addo’s exit from Kotoko has been confirmed after the Porcupine Warriors signed former Berekum Chelsea goalkeeper Ernest Sowah on a free transfer.

Dutch trainer John Killa wants to increase his team’s cohesiveness for the upcoming campaign an experience custodian to man the post for him.

As it stands now, no club stand in their way to sign the goalkeeper who Kotoko signed from Heart of Lions three seasons ago.
