After months of being in existence, the ever vibrant Kidney foundation (JIF) set up by Ghollywood star actress Juliet Ibrahim is in the headlines again, this time with a charity ALL FEMALE celebrity soccer match on April 29, 2012 at the EL-Wak sports stadium to raise funds to support kidney affected patients.

The All Female celebrity soccer game will be the first of its kind in the country. The event is set to feature 40 female celebrities from Ghana including, Actresses, Entrepreneurs, TV & Radio presenters, Musicians and other top celebrity models.

According to organizers, the female celebrities will be grouped into two football teams to be coached by former Blackstars midfielder Laryea Kingston and another prominent name in the industry yet to be named.

Celebrities names like Nana Ama Mcbrown, Pascaline Edwards, Nana Aba Anamoah, Irene Logan, Naa Ashorkor Mensah, Mzbel, Eazzy, Roselyn Ngissah, Martha Ankomah, Joselyn Dumas, Juliet Ibrahim and many others will be joined by Nigerian music super star Brymo, Scientific, Nadjat, Geelex, Eja, Saint Niya and Ksweed as they entertain fans to good music and full entertainment from the celebrities.

Tickets for the All Female Celebrities Soccer Game event are 30gh for Regular and 50gh for VIP which comes with more free goodies. The Foundation is looking to use gate proceeds at the event in supporting kidney affected patient who are in need of surgery and other medications to help save their lives.

Meanwhile the Foundation before the Easter festivities donated an amount of GH¢1000 to a 14year old boy who will be undergoing a kidney surgery. The donation was made to Metro TV who are publicly soliciting funds for the boy who needs GH¢6000 for the surgery.

Let’s support the Juliet Ibrahim foundation and help put smiles on the faces of people living with kidney diseases in Ghana.
