LAGOS — The police in Nigeria on Monday confirmed two suspected suicide bombers killed themselves when they were intercepted on their way to attack a mosque in restive northeast city of Maiduguri.

ADEN, Yemen — At least 40 pro-government soldiers were killed in Yemen’s southeastern province of Hadramout in a series of attacks that targeted military locations on Monday, a security official told Xinhua.
