Juventus were officially presented with their Serie-A title after Saturday?s 1-1 draw with Cagliari at a colourful ceremony in Torino ? representing the first career championship triumph of Ghana midfielder; Kwadwo Asamoah.
Asamoah was not included in the Juventus team that drew at home to Cagliari but came out to join his colleagues to receive the club?s 29th Scudetto.
The Bianconeri had already secured the championship last weel but had to wait for a couple games to be officially crowned Italian champions for the second straight year.
Antonio Conte?s men however failed in their bid to end the season with a record number of points following the draw with Cagliari on Saturday.
This means Juventus? own record of 91 points set in the 2005-06 season under Fabio Capello remains intact.
The hosts were stunned after seeing Vitcor Ibrabo finish off a solo run deep inside his half at the other end in the 13th minute.
The champions however had to wait to call upon substitute Mirko Vucinic to get them out if jail with a clean finish in the 61st minute.
A podium was quickly mounted after the game at the Juventus Stadium as the players came out in an order amidst cheers from the packed crowd to receive their winner?s medal.
Asamoah who joined the side at the beginning of the season from Udinese got a fair share of the chants as he took his winner?s medal with much pride.
He later went to celebrate with his family ? his wife; Abena and son; Jason.
