Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, on Monday condemned the shooting to death of three people at a Jewish community centre and a nearby Jewish nursing home in the U.S. state of Kansas.
Netanyuahu said in a statement from his office in Jerusalem: “we condemn the murder which by all signs was done out of hatred of Jews.??
“The state of Israel at the head of and along with all members of civilisation is committed to fight against this plague,?? Netanyuahu said.
The suspected shooter, Frazier Miller, 73, from Missouri, is the founder and former leader of the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan and the White Patriot Party with a long history of anti-Semitism.
However, two of the dead were a 14-year-old boy and his grandfather, who were not Jewish, shot in the community centre’s parking lot, while the third victim was shot in the retirement home.
