Newly-appointed Hearts coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi will earn less than $3,000 as salary, club’s spokesman Opare Addo has revealed.
The Japanese is expected to complete a two-year deal with the Ghanaian giants following his arrival in the country over the weekend.
The 46-year-old will replace Edward Ansah, who took charge of the team in an interim basis following the dismissal of veteran Herbert Addo.
Hearts have revealed their new coach will not cost them more than $3,000 as monthly salary. “We have finally found a head coach. We didn’t have to pay much for him,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM
“We got a good deal with Keni. He will receive an amount less than $3000.”
Yatsuhashi will meet the playing body this week to kick start preparations for the start of the new soccer season.
