Kotoko have reached an agreement with free agent Kennedy Ashia, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.
The 22-year-old is leaving Liberty Professionals following the expiration of his current contract.
Ashia is reported to have agreed personal terms with the Porcupine Warriors in Kumasi last week and will sign the dotted latest in a fortnight.
The highly-talented midfielder will become the latest high-profile player to join the club following the acquisition of goalkeeper Ernest Sowah and defender Samuel Kyere.
Kotoko coach David Dunca is believed to be key admirer of the former Ghana Under-20 star.
