The benchmark NSE 20 Share Index sustained a downward trend going down some 19 points to 3,333.36 while the All Share Index shed 0.4 percent to 172.53.

British American Tobacco was the session’s top gainer, rising 7.1 percent to 6.9 dollars supported by net foreign buying.
