Klefe electorate ureged to maintain Assemblyman

Some opinion leaders in the Klefe Electoral Area, have urged the electorate in the area to retain Mr Delali Kasu as Assemblyman.

They described Mr Kasu as a ?hardworking young man,? committed to the development of the farming community, near Ho.

Mr Kasu is being contested by two young men for the March 3 Assembly Elections.

Mr Prosper Anewu, retired educationist, told the Ghana News Agency that Mr Kasu?s exploits at the Assembly, coupled with the development projects in education and sanitation in the last four years, has brought Klefe into the limelight positively, thus justifying his retention.

?Mr Kasu?s perseverance has raised the image of Klefe in the Assembly, which is yielding good results for us, and we think he deserves more time at the Ho Assembly.?

Mr Freeman Kumah, also a retired public servant, said Mr Kasu?s positive influence on young people in the community, and efforts at bringing ?quality education,? to the doorsteps of the people, was commendable, and therefore another four years for him at the Assembly would help the community.

They outlined numerous educational facilities and sanitation infrastructure, some of which are still under construction, as efforts of Mr Kasu, and want him re-elected.

Mr Kumah said he was particularly moved by Mr Kasu?s initiative of mobilizing the community to put up a vocational/technical school, and urged the youth to rally behind him to prosecute his development agenda for the community.

Mr Kasu, a Marketing Professional, said his vision was to market the tourism potentials of the area, and make it a tourism destination for the Ho Municipality.

He said he was consulting experts on how to develop a waterfall in the area, and market popular ?decorative stones? within the community, to enhance the local economy.

Mr Kasu said his priority was to beautify Klefe and make it the most attractive Town in the Municipality, with serene environment suitable for research and other educational activities.
