The Business School of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has received a brand new Toyota Hilux pick-up vehicle to aid smooth running of its administration.

This is a gift from the GCB Bank, and on hand to present it, was the Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Samuel Sarpong.

He underlined the bank’s determination to strengthen its partnership with the university to promote research.

GCB Bank, last year, donated an amount of GH¢1 million in support of the School of Architecture.

Mr. Sarpong said the bank had been employing graduates from the Business School and it was there important to provide the needed support to enhance their quality of training.

Professor Kwasi Obiri Danso, the Vice Chancellor, said they were grateful for the gesture.

He added that the vehicle was a welcomed relief as the School lacked a vehicle to perform routine administrative work.

Prof Obiri Danso pledged to make sure that the vehicle properly maintained and put to efficient use.
