Asante Kotoko won their 25th Ghana Premier League title after a 1-1 draw with Ashantigold at the Obuasi Len Clay on Thursday.

The Porcupine Warriors going into the rescheduled match-day 29 encounter needed a draw to clinch the title.

Asante Kotoko did get the needed results as Maxwell Agyemang’s leveller in the second half ensured spoils were shared after Yaw Annor gave the home side the lead in the first half.

The last time Kotoko won the league title was in 2014 and would now represent Ghana at the 2022/23 CAF Champions League.

Asante Kotoko would travel to Accra to face Great Olympics in their match-day 32 encounter of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
