Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko could play Spanish side Espanyol if they agree to honour an invitation to play in a four-team tournament in Nigeria.
Nigerian giants Kano Pillars and Ismaily of Egypt have also been invited for the tournament.
The tournament will be played at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos from 25-28 July.
Ex-Nigeria international Mutiu Apepoju is putting together this concept.
Kotoko will have a busy pre-season after agreeing to play Mamelodi Sundowns who will tour the West African country from 12-20 July.
The Porcupine Warriors retained their Ghana Premier League title last Sunday on the final day with a 1-0 win over Amidaus Professionals on the road.
