Kwankwaso Harps On Sustaining Viable Socio-economic Projects

Sustaining more viable socio-economic projects by Northern governors in their respective states is the key to development in the region, Kano State Governor, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has said.
The governor? disclosed that Kano State?? was spearheading the establishment of? Northwest University to further improve? educational standard? in consultation with other governors within the north sub-region.
? This will foster unity and create opportunities for northerners to excel and launch the region on the path of acquiring western and Islamic education,? he said.
Speaking in Sokoto, yesterday, at the commissioning of? over N7 billion worth of? road projects executed by the Aliyu Wamakko administration, Dr. Kwankwaso said that northern governors had to work hard? to? transform the region for the benefit and survival of the people.
? It is time we fight the high level of idleness among our people,? he added.
According to him, leadership was all about foresight and ability to sustain visions and mission in the interest of the led, pointing out that the responsibilities of governors were beyond state levels, adding that? we also have to go out to network and work? in partnership with others at different levels for the benefit of our people.?
Kwankwaso said that ?we need politics of ideology and vision to move the region forward.?
The Kano State governor commended governor Wamakko for his resilience and foresight , adding that ? you have through these people oriented projects put the state on the map of development.
