Black Stars and Stromgodset goalie Adam Kwarasey could miss Ghana’s epic clash with the current African Champions, the Chipolopolo’s of Zambia due to acute flu.
Speaking to the Public Relations Officer of the FA, Ibrahim Sani Darra from far away Johannesburg he said, “All the players are very strong except Adam Kwarasey who is down with acute malaria but the team doctor’s are working on him to make sure that he becomes fit before Saturday”.
The Black Stars are currently camping in Johannesburg till Thursday where they will fly to Zambia for a two day camping before they take on their Zambian counterpart.
“The entire team is aware of what happened to us in the just ended AFCON when we played the Chipolopolo’s but the players have not taking it as something personal. We know the kind of threat they can offer us and we are preparing towards it,” Sani noted.
“We are only asking the entire nation to rout behind us like they did in our game against Lesotho which we won by 7 – 0 and with all other things being equal, Zambia will have their own share of the cake”, Sani added.
