Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has confirmed he will submit a provisional 30-man squad to FIFA early next month as he readies to name his final squad for the 2014 World Cup finals.

The ex-international will then select 25 players for the pre-World Cup friendly against Holland on 31 May before settling on his cast for the tournament in Brazil.

Two players will be dropped after the exhibition match in Rotterdam to leave him with the final cut of 23 players to make the trip to USA for preparations.

?I will submit a 30-man squad to FIFA early next month,? the mild-mannered Appiah disclosed on Accra-based radio station Happy FM.

?But after the game against Holland we would have settled on the required 23 players that will represent Ghana.?

The Black Stars will be based in Los Angeles where they will play Honduras before heading to Brazil.

Ghana will start their Group G World Cup campaign against the United States of America on 16 before facing Germany and Portugal.
