Nii Kotei Djor I, the La Nkwantanang-Madina Mantse, has called on Ghanaians to accept to work together for the success of the Free Senior High School Policy.
He said this was important because of the enormous benefits the nation stood to gain through the development of the human capital.
Nii Djor, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview in Accra on Friday, said the implementation of the Policy had opened the door of opportunity to many a student from poor homes, who otherwise could not have received senior high school education.
He advised parents to take advantage of the intervention and send all their children to school.
He said it was by giving their children education that they would help to make their lives meaningful to society.
Nii Djor applauded the Government for the bold decision taken to implement the Policy, which brought huge financial relief to parents.
On the recent gas explosion at Atomic Junction, which claimed seven lives and injured more than 100, Nii Djor appealed to the Government to provide free medical screening for the people in the community.
He urged the Government to help tackle the issue of land guards, which had become a source of worry to the community.
