The figure is the highest PTML has ever generated in a month
The Ports and Terminal Multi-Services Limited (PTML) Command of the Nigeria Customs Services in Lagos, disclosed that it generated a revenue of N6.6 billion in July.
A statement released by the Command on Wednesday, stated that last month’s revenue saw an increase of N1 billion from the previous month.
The statement attributed the financial success to workers? diligence and consistent meetings between the Customs Area Comptroller, Tunji Aremu, and the stakeholders.
It also identified an initiative to run a 24-hour cargo clearance operation as key to the command’s success.
?In the history of PTML, this is the month we generated the highest revenue with the support of our listening comptroller,?? the statement read.
The statement also urged the business community to take full advantage of the command’s initiatives to improve service delivery.
