Mr Michael Dandy Zah, the District Police Commander of South Tongu, has cautioned landlords in the area against harbouring criminals in their homes.
He asked them to be security conscious and not only be interested in the collection of rent.
Speaking at a National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) Social Auditing engagement at Sokpoe, Mr Zah said the district was gradually gaining notoriety as a base for criminals and called for support from landlords to flush criminals out of the area.
Mr Oral Robert Amenyo, South Tongu District Director of the NCCE, said the platform allowed for community members to interact with duty bearers to identify problems confronting them and how to resolve them.
He said in profiling the community to ascertain their top three priority need, a CHPS Compound, stall, 20-seater toilet facility and a community library made the list.
At the forum, the people deliberated on the projects and selected an interim committee to spearhead their execution.
