The Ethiopia Public Health Institute (EPHI) said on Saturday that a nationwide cholera outbreak has killed 76 people.
The latest cholera outbreak is particularly severe in the Somali, Southern and Oromia regional states of Ethiopia, state media outlet Ethiopia News Agency quoted the EPHI as saying.
Other regions affected by the outbreak include Tigray, Amhara, Harar, and the capital, Addis Ababa, the EPHI said.
Ethiopia has been suffering from recurrent outbreaks of cholera since April 2019, leaving hundreds dead and thousands of others sick. Enditem
