LG Mobile Communication Company is part of the group of LG Electronics.
Cho is expected to map out business strategies for increasing sales of their products in Uganda and consider the possibilities of setting up manufacturing plants.
Cho arrived in the country on Monday for a two day visit.
He has met top government officials. He has visited their sole distributor Appliance World and several outlets dealing in LG products.
Cho has strong knowledge of LG’s mobile operations, having previously led LG’s mobile business strategy and sales and marketing for North America from 2001-2007.
A graduate of Seoul National University with a degree in economics, Cho received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

LG comprises five business units ? Home Entertainment, Mobile Communications, Home Appliance, Air Conditioning & Energy Solution and Vehicle Components and it is one of the world’s leading producers of flat panel TVs, mobile devices, air conditioners, washing machines and refrigerators.
Industry sources said LG was a strong brand name in Uganda but it has to step up to match the fierce competition in the market.
