The Lindsay Lohan's Legal Saga Continues

Lindsay Lohan is due back in California court on Monday but she will make it just in the nick of time.

The ever-embattled actress will face the court on charges in connection to her car crash on the Pacific Coast Highway in June 2012.
Lohan has pleaded not guilty to three misdemeanor charges filed after the accident ? reckless driving, lying to police and obstructing officers from performing their duties.

Just two weeks ago, Lohan and her New York-based attorney, Mark Heller, turned down a plea deal, which would have required her to serve time in a rehabilitation facility.

Now Lohan could land behind bars if she is found guilty of any of the misdemeanors. If she is convicted, her sentence may be up to 245 days ? the remainder of her suspended sentence from a shoplifting conviction, which stemming from her stealing a necklace from a Los Angeles-area jeweler.

It?s been a rough ride of late for Lohan, who is trying to rebuild her crippled acting career and public image after years of run-ins with the law. In November, her Lifetime original made-for-TV movie, Liz & Dick, in which she portrayed the late Oscar-winning icon Elizabeth Taylor, premiered to middling ratings and was wholly panned by reviewers.

That same week, she was arrested and charged with third-degree misdemeanor assault after she got into an altercation with a woman at a nightclub in New York City.
