The Global Educators for All Initiative, a growing network of interdependent educators as well as formal, non formal and informal educational agency has conferred the International Award on DR. (Mrs.) Beatrice Wiafe Addai, as Millennium Development Ambassador.
The Award is a global recognition and mandate to facilitate the realization of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
Dr. (Mrs.) Beatrice Wiafe Addai, was the first to receive this award since it was introduced. The Award ceremony took place at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.
Global Educators for All Initiative, is an International non-profit association of interdependent educators working towards the realization of quality education of all, by all and for all.
Dr. (Mrs.) Beatrice Wiafe Addai, is extremely versatile Breast Cancer campaigner, specialist and surgeon, and President of Breast Care International (BCI) Ghana, a Non Government Organization (NGO) dedicated to the establishment of breast cancer awareness centers throughout the country.
She has also done a lot in the creation of breast cancer awareness among Ghanaian women, especially rural women since they form the majority, educating on the existence of breast cancer, undertaking of Breast Cancer Screening Campaigns, Counseling, and Rehabilitation and Research into the various breast pathologies especially breast cancer in Ghana.
