Local Black Stars coach Dauda Lutterodt has admitted his side will gain valuable experience from the invitational tournament in Liberia ahead of the CHAN qualifier against Benin.
The Local Black Stars have been preparing in Obuase for a three-nation competition in Liberia against the Lone Stars and Guinea from the 24-26 May.
However, the team has a crucial preliminary CHAN 2014 qualifier against Benin next month.
And Lutterodt believes the Liberia tournament would offer value lessons and the mental toughness for his side for the qualifier.
?We have a crucial game against Benin the CHAN qualifier and this tournament will be important for us,? he told Accra-based Happy FM.
?I?ll meet with Kwesi Appiah and decide on the squad for the game for the game,? he added.
Lutterodt?s side defeated lower-tier side Asokwa Deportivo 3-0 with Mahatma Otoo scoring a brace before Kwabena Edusei also got on the score-sheet.
