Passengers could book flights to London with fares starting from GHC 2,490 in Economy Class and in Business class from GHC 9,390. Paris starts from GHcC2, 090 in Economy and GHC 9,190 and Amsterdam from GHC 2,190 in Economy and GHcC9, 590 in business.

Mr Kevin Markette, Lufthansa General Manager Ghana stressed: “These fares are all fully inclusive of taxes and fees and provide a very transparent fare to the customer; there are no hidden fees or taxes”.

Fares are, however, subject to exchange rate fluctuations and seat availability, he said.

Mr Markette stated that these fares are among the lowest fares available in Ghana to these destinations, saying, “You will be hard pressed to find a better fare at the same quality”.

Similar fares are also available to many destinations in Lufthansa’s extensive network in Europe, the USA and Canada.

The airline currently operates most of its flights on the larger AirbusbA330-300 and would from October 28, adjust the days of operation from Accra.

Lufthansa, in line with its commitment to ensuring passenger comfort, using appropriate aircraft, launched the Boeing 747-8i and currently operates a fleet of 15 of these wide-body jets.

The Lufthansa fleet numbers close to 300 aircrafts in total and is one of the largest in Europe, including 12 Airbus A380-800s, over 40 Airbus A340?s and 35 Boeing 747?s.

The domestic and regional fleet is made up of Airbus A319/320/321 aircraft and numbers over 150 aircraft.
