FC Porto?s utility Ghana youth starlet Agbenyenu Lumor has expressed confident of making the cut for Ghana?s final squad for the FIFA U20 World Cup.
The 18-year-old was named in a provisional 35-man squad released by Ghana U20 head coach Sellas Tetteh during the week.
Lumor must compete for a spot in the final 21-man squad in a midfield that had Manchester City pair of Yaw Yeboah and Thomas Agyemang, Sporting Braga?s Emmanuel Oti as well as local talent Asiedu Attobrah.
But the former Unistar Academy player who can play in four different positions believes his versatility can help him hold down a berth in the final squad.
?I play here as a left-back but I can play 7, 11 and 10. I?m sure I can make the final squad for the tournament,? he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
Lumor is among 13 foreign-based players named by Sellas Tetteh. Much-talked about Cagliari defensive midfielder Godfred Donsah, Granada CF?s Clifford Aboagye and Emmanuel Boateng are all among the squad.
