Madagascar’s parliament planned on Tuesday to impeach President Hery Rajaonarimampianina, according to a letter signed by 115 out of 151 parliament members.
The permanent office of national assembly received on Friday (May 22) the impeachment request in order to dismiss the president Madagascar Hery Rajaonarimampianina, spokesperson of the National Assembly Malement Liahosoa declared at the meeting of parliament Tuesday.
“This letter was signed by 115 parliament members from all parliament groups at the national assembly,” Malement Liahosoa added.
Directly after the declaration, the National Assembly president Jean Max Rakotomamonjy said the agenda of the parliament was cancelled because the permanent office will hold directly a close- door meeting to decide the date of the voting. Enditem
