The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Atiwa East in the Eastern Region, Abena Osei-Asare, has presented 50 street lights and 100 solar lights to her constituents at a short ceremony at Anyinam.

The lights were procured at the cost of GH?3,000 from her Social Intervention Fund.

Presenting the lights, she said they were to be installed along the main highway from Anyiman to Jejeti.

She also indicated that the 100 solar lights were to be installed at the various Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) centres in the constituency.

She promised to continue to fulfill her promises to her constituents saying, efforts were being made to ensure that communities in the constituency, which are not connected to the national grid yet, were connected to it.

She asked the beneficiary communities to take good care of the lights.
